Singer Luis Miguel exuded vitality at a concert in Las Vegas where he showed off his melodious and powerful voice for thousands of fans, mainly women, who succumbed to the charms of the artist known as “The Sun of Mexico”.

The 41-year-old artist performed Saturday for the third consecutive night in the Caesars Palace hotel colosseum in “Sin City” with a light and sound show at which he offered “a little of everything”, as he put it, consisting of a repertoire of ballads, boleros and mariachi numbers.

Luis Miguel knew how to get the audience on its feet quickly after they heard “Suave”, “Con tus besos” and “Tres palabras” and they accompanied him on the choruses of “La barca” and followed along with him until he had completed several medleys.

Successes such as “Sabor a mi” and “Sin ti” preceded his duet with Frank Sinatra “Come Fly With Me,” the only number he sang in English, and he was backed up by a video of the late U.S. crooner, whose image was very much present on a gigantic screen behind Luis Miguel.

Although distant in his public life, Luis Miguel sought out the affection of his fans on numerous occasions during the concert, shaking the hands of many in the audience and some fans, among them a young girl, managed to steal kisses from him right in front of his bodyguards, who had to remove two such impassioned young women from the stage.

The song list continued with “O tu o ninguna”, “Palabra de honor”, “Entregate” and “La incondicional”, fully winning over the audience that almost filled the venue, which can hold about 4,300 people.

Almost 30 years into his performing career, Luis Miguel has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide and won 10 Grammy Awards.
