Luis Miguel surprised everyone after his album Mexico Por Siempre won the album of the year category.
No one expected that the Mexican singer was going to take the award after being in the same category as J Balvin, Kany Garcia and Monseiur Perine, among others.
Mexico Por Siempre was released on Nov. 24, 2017, under Warner Music Latina. The set gave Luis Miguel his second No. 1 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart.
Luis Miguel is currently touring in Mexico with his Mexico Por Siempre tour, which is set to wrap up on Dec. 16 in Monterrey, Mexico.
